San Geronimo Valley residents live in a unique and beautiful watershed!? Studies indicate that the Lagunitas Creek watershed (to which San Geronimo is a tributary) produces up to 15% of the State?s coho population.20Steelhead trout, designated as threatened, also find important habitat in San Geronimo Valley.? The potential benefit of protecting and restoring fish habitat in San Geronimo Valley is huge, and the fate of salmon here will have important ramifications for the entire Central California population of coho salmon and steelhead.

Municipal Water District will select a new board member and discuss its
conservation program and results of an employee survey when it meets
Wednesday. The meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. at the district board room

will consider allowing the public pool at Hamilton to be annexed into
the Novato Sanitary District jurisdiction at a City Council hearing set
for Sept. 8. The pool, undergoing a renovation, has been served under
"outside service agreement...s"
by the sanitary district since it took over the sewer facilities for
the former Hamilton Air Force Base, but the pool and several other

Town Council will decide whether to declare Patrice Phillips' Oak Manor
Drive property - and the livestock, fowl and recreational vehicle kept
there - a public nuisance during a 7:30 p.m. meeting Wednesday at the
Women's Club at 46... Park Road. The council will also consider amending town regulations for parks, playgrounds and the central ballfield.
