Municipal Water District will select a new board member and discuss its
conservation program and results of an employee survey when it meets
Wednesday. The meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. at the district board room
at 220 Nellen Ave. in Corte Madera.

Marin County staff reductions because of cuts in state funding will be
discussed by county supervisors when they meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in
Room 330 of the Civic Center. The supervisors also will receive a
report on a program to streamline ...the
review of proposed developments in the county, and they will review
proposed rate hikes for garbage service in certain areas.

Energy Authority needs to compete with Pacific Gas and Electric Co.

Town Council will decide whether to declare Patrice Phillips' Oak Manor
Drive property - and the livestock, fowl and recreational vehicle kept
there - a public nuisance during a 7:30 p.m. meeting Wednesday at the
Women's Club at 46... Park Road. The council will also consider amending town regulations for parks, playgrounds and the central ballfield.
