Board to consider bids for sewer project

The
Novato Sanitary District board will consider advertising for bids on a
sewer project planned for Center Road and Wilson Avenue at its 4:30
p.m. Monday meeting.

The board plans to move its July 27 meeting from the district office on
Davidson Street to the Hill Community Room at the Margaret Todd Senior
Center in anticipation of a large crowd when it votes on privatization
of management for its new $70 million treatment plant.


Monday's meeting will be at 500 Davidson St.






                Novato
City Council on Tuesday will examine options for the Sonoma Marin Area
Trail Transit cars after a presentation by Councilwoman Madeline
Keller, a member of the SMART board. The council will hear an update on
freight train service through Novato and consider a workplan for the
Council Finance Committee. 6:30 p.m. at the Novato Unified School
District office at 1015 Seventh St.
