Residents with questions or concerns about their SmartMeters can contact the California Public Utilities Commission at 1-800-649-7570 or www.cpuc.ca.gov/PUC/CEC/e_complaint/a_utilitycomplaint.htm.

                Fairfax, Cotati and Santa Cruz have also sought 
moratoriums, and the San Anselmo Town Council plans to discuss the issue
 on July 27.

i understand larry has also giving legal help to a SF suit too 

Pacific Gas and Electric Co. has begun placing the devices in Fairfax homes.
That decision has upset many residents and angered Fairfax officials who are pursuing a variety of methods to keep PG&E's trademarked SmartMeters out of Fairfax.
