Green Talk with the Green  Party of San Mateo County
 
Panel discussion on the future of Bay Meadows in San Mateo with  
representatives of the Housing Leadership Council, Save Bay Meadows  Organization, and the 
Peninsula Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition.
 
When: Wednesday March 8 at 7-9pm.
Preceded by free refreshments  6-7pm.

PROGRAM:  There will be a series of three speakers, each with a  different 
perspective of the Bay Meadows Project - Phase II, as it is  called.  Each 
speaker will be given up to 20 minutes. (They can use less  time if they wish.)  
>From 8:00 to 9:00 PM there will be Questions and  Answers/discussion. The 
purpose is to inform and learn.  This is NOT a  debate. Don Havis will be moderator.

The three confirmed speakers  are:  (1) Moira Birss of the Housing Leadership 
Council.  This  organization has endorsed the Bay meadows, Phase II plan  (2) 
 Donna  Bischoff, President of the Save Bay Meadows Organization.  (3)  Steve 
 Vanderlip, President of the Peninsula Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition.

Every month, the Green  Party of San Mateo County hosts lectures on topics 
important to residents of our  region. Speakers may be local residents 
discussing their area of expertise or  nationally-recognized activists Whether the 
subject is taxes, health care,  public transportation or airport expansion, you 
will find something at the Green  Talks that impacts you and your neighbors.
