A very important event that we Greens significantly contributed to in
California was the defeat of archconservative Repub state Senator (CA
11) Richard Pombo. Wes Rolley was a key Green supporter of the Dem
Jerry McNerney, the Dem that won yesterday. Here's two blogs that Wes

Wes founded the California Rural Caucus (a caucus that would be great
to start on the national level too!)
