After I emailed the person who wrote the $500 check
and reported on its status as well as our forthcoming tabling activities
I received the following response per email:

Hello Jim,

Thanks for your quick response to my query.  Yes, I'll try to
to attend this weekend's event, which sounds quite interesting. 
I look forward to continuing my relationship with the Green Party.
