To GPSCC activists involved in producing the October 3 "Meet the Green
Party California Candidates" (MGPCC) in Mountain View,

The following will serve as a reference for you when needed:

The MGPCC is a Green Party of Santa Clara County sponsored public event
to stimulate public interest, support and donations for our statewide,
regional and local Green Party candidates running for election on Nov.

regional voters and media. They are: Todd Chretien for U.S. Senator,

Hill for Secretary of State, Methul Thakker for Treasurer, Michael
(Mike) Wyman for Attorney General, Laura Wells for Controller, Larry
Cafiero for Insurance Commissioner, Carol Brouillet for the 14th
District U.S. House of Representatives Seat and Tian Harter a "Green"
nonpartison candidate for the Mountain View City Council. (All of these
candidates have accepted our invitation to participate. Carol Brouillt
and Tian Harter will serve as Program Co-Hosts.)

The event will take place at the Mountain View Historic Adobe Building,
157 Moffett Boulevard, on the northeast corner of Moffett Blvd. and the
Central Expressway - directly across from the Mountain View CalTrain and
VTA Light Rail Station. Parking is available in the parking lot across
Moffett, and along the east side of Moffett Blvd. There is also a small
parking lot behind the Adobe Bldg.

The event will begin with a Reception at 6:45 pm. Light refreshments
and non alcohol beverages will be served, and music will be provided.

At 7:30 the program, during which the candidates speak, will begin.

From 9:00 to 9:30 there will be opportunities for Questions & Answers
and Discussion.

Some "Green Friendly" organizations will be invited to place their
literature on tables placed outside on the Plaza.

Setting up the furnishings in the hall, the buffet, the literature-media
table, the electronic equipment and the logistic signs can begin at 5:15 pm.

Green Party members are encouraged to volunteer to help in some way.

If you have special ideas on how we can reach people of minority
ethnicity and news media that are not well known, your suggestions would
be appreciated.
