I post this to keep you abreast of  the efforts of the other congressman 
serving Santa Clara County, Jerry McNerney.

To begin with, Jerry is giving his short speech in support of the 
Democratic resolution in opposition to the escalation of troop levels in 
Iraq.  You can read it on his blog.

The other thing to note is that Jerry, acting against the advice of his 
staff, signed on as a sponsor of Lynn Woolsey's bill HR 508, that would 
have American Forces and American contractors out of Iraq in 6 months. 
Do not discount the strength of conviction of McNerney. He was a cadet 
at West Point who resigned in opposition to the Vietnam War.  

So, while you are delivering your valentines to Honda, Eshoo and Lofgren 
(none of whom signed on to HR 508) I will be sending my own email 
valentine to Jerry, urging him to call for impeachment.
