Just in case you didn't know about it, former U.S. Senator from South 
Dakota and 1972 Democratic Candidate for President, George McGovern, 
will speak at the First Presbyterian Church, 1140 Cowper Street, Palo 
Alto, Wednesday, February 28, starting at 7:30 p.m.  It is being 
presented by the Peninsula Peace and Justice Center.   The  sliding 
scale admission will be $12 - $25.  No one will be turned away for lack 
of funds.  Wheel chairs accessible.

McGovern will give a commentary on his and William R. Polk's recently 
published book,  "Out of Iraq: A Practical Plan for Withdrawal Now." 

Purchased books will be signed by Sen. McGovern.
