Hi Jim,

I saw Dr. Bowman speak in Campbell 6/12 and at the awards
rally 6/13.

I found him quite inspiring. He comes from a conservative
consitututionist basis, but his fearless examination of the
facts of the state of the world today lead him to startling
conclusions. He proposed, or contemplated conditionally,
the destruction of the World Bank, the CIA, and the Federal
Reserve, and the outlawing of imperialism. He advocated
the freeing of Leonard Peltier. He said if he were president
he would immediately rescind every single one of George
Bush's signing statements.

I told him that he blew my mind because I had never before
heard anyone say that a President has the power to outlaw
imperialism.

It appears that Dr. Bowman left the military when he realized
that the space weapons program he headed under Carter
would not work as a defensive weapon but had a great
deal of potential as an offensive one.

There were only about 50 people in Campbell. I'm told he
got 140 in Chico, and that his single largest audience was in
Kansas City.

Ken Jenkins of 911TV.org and the Northern California 9/11 Truth
Alliance said Bowman's talk was the single best political speech he
had ever seen. Jenkins was so excited he videotaped Bowman's
Marin County address with three cameras. While waiting for that
to be edited, we'll have to satisfy ourselves with this excerpt
recording a section on 9/11:

I don't know where this one was shot.

I have much admired Dr. Bowman's extremely moderate positions
on 9/11:

The truth about 9/11 is that we don't know the truth about 9/11,
and we should. If the administration has nothing to hide, why is it
hiding everything? Even if the official narrative is essentially correct,
the coverup is itself a government conspiracy.

His talk is framed as a State of the Union address given after he has
been elected President. He asks the audience to register its
reaction to its component statements by applauding or sitting
on their hands. It's a very effective way of polling the audience.
(That's why in the video we see him make the grandiose claim
that he is establishing a new 9/11 Commission.)

Dr. Bowman says he is suffering from terminal cancer and is not
running for president, but is trying to get the ball rolling for a
program that will survive him.

Brian
