BAREC Friends:
We have been busy preparing for a BAREC Legislative Summit on Saturday 
and getting ready for the June 19th 7 pm Santa Clara City Council BAREC 
meeting. The agenda for this meeting is to have a public hearing, 
approve the Final EIR for housing, and change BAREC's zoning from 
agriculture to housing. It is important that everyone attend this 
important meeting. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO TO HELP 
KEEP BAREC IN OPEN SPACE.
Even though it is late notice I thought you might like to know that I 
will be on radio with Yolanda Reynolds talking about BAREC tomorrow 
morning on KKUP's "Free and Clear" program (91.5 FM) from 7 am to 8 am. 
You can call in with questions (408-260-2999) or tell your friends. Get 
the latest update on our efforts to keep BAREC in open space and keep 
public land public.
