[Sosfbay-discuss] Are Campus Greens in Support of SAHE?

The Campus Greens at Cal will probably be participating in the events on the 21st. We have been working this year with our student government to advocate at the state and national level for higher education as far as stopping UC fee hikes, supporting the CA and Federal DREAM Acts, and advocating for the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (which was supposed to be renewed around 2003-2005). We always remind ourselves that financial aid is not the end-all-be-all but that free public higher education should always be our end goal.

Thank you for posting this info Andi. Our SCco Campus Greens groups are
not formed yet, but this is a highly relevant issue for all us students.
