[Sosfbay-discuss] National Asembly (to end Iraq war/occupation)

The Peninsula Peace and Justice Center has informed those on its list 
about the National Assembly that is being planned  to be held in 
Cleveland, OH, on June 28 and 29. The purpose of the assembly is to 
unite/organize the U.S. progressive community to act as one powerful 
voice demanding that our government end the Iraq war/occupation, post 
haste.

My feeling is that the Green Party of U.S., state and county Green 
Parties ought to endorse the event, pronto.  The reasons are obvious.

Perhaps the GPSCC County Committee could start the ball rolling by 
polling a dozen of our active regulars to make the GPSCC endorsement and 
to contact GPCA principals to urge the GPCA to do the same.  Perhaps it 
could be put on the GPCA Plenary agenda.
