[Sosfbay-discuss] fppc/rov fines

I received a certified letter yesterday - 1/4 - which had a return 
receipt request
that had to be signed.

The registrar of voters is assessing fines of  $1,283.00 and $1,403.00
for two reporting periods:  1/1/2005 to 06/30/2005 and the period
from 07/01/2005 to 12/31/2005.

The total, $2,686.00 is due within 20 days.

These are from the Registrar of Voters office.
The person I spoke to on Friday was not aware of any fines
coming from the fppc or the political reform division of the Secretary
of State's office.
