Last week we wrote you and asked that you contact your member of
Congress about the Farm Bill. However Congressional leaders
settled on a bill that will continue to hurt rural America,
damage our trade relationships, and hurt the world's poorest
farmers. We now need your help more than ever to tell Congress
to reject the Farm Bill in its present form.

Call your Representative now and urge them to reject the Farm
Bill.

It's fast and simple, and it will make a big difference. Please
follow these simple instructions:
- Call the Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121. 
- Ask to speak with one of your Representative. 
- Follow this script:
"Hello. My name is [INSERT NAME], and I'm a voting constituent
from [INSERT CITY, STATE]. I would like you to stand up for poor
people around the world and reject the Farm Bill conference
report in its present form. The bill maintains significant
subsidies that go to the wealthiest producers even though farm
income is at record high levels. A small redistribution of
subsidies could make a huge difference in reducing hunger in
many parts of the world. Please do everything you can to make
sure poor people benefit from the Farm Bill-vote against the
Farm Bill conference report."
