[Sosfbay-discuss] Cynthia McKinney in Bay Area this week

I hope a lot of Greens show up at these events with her lawn signs
and posters from her Green Party presidential run to show her that we
Greens are button-popping proud of her indomitable spirit and feisty
vociferousness—no wonder she and Nader are good friends! She's a
chip off the old block and may end up eclipsing him in political
impact! What an amazing woman! Her grasp of a panoply of issues is
impressive. She's no light-weight.

I heard her on KPFA today talking about the Israeli New York crowd
that ousted her TWICE from office. They didn't like her criticisms
of their actions in Palestine. I was taken aback as I heard her acid
comments. I also didn't know about the 'twice.' Apparently her
critics used the ability to cross party lines to vote in the primary
in huge numbers to set up a weaker candidate (and eliminate her) to
oppose their party's favorite. Dirty politics.
