-HOSTING STATE MEETING,(Feb - March) Jim Stauffer - Considerations re:hosting next plenary

REPORTS ON STATE MEETING/COTATI:
Restructuring Proposal, Jim Stauffer:
	The restructuring proposal passed, so the new State Coordinating Committee will have 26 
members, 14 of them At Large members.  Recruiting will start for these At Large seats.
Other Delegates:  Andrea Dorey attended the Media Committee meeting.  It has not been very 
active, as Cres Velucci has been ill.
		  Dana St. George attended Green Issues, which was  a fairly large group.  Issues 
discussed included global warming, California water problems, single payer healthcare, 
clean money, electoral reform, monetary reform.
		  Jim Stauffer attended the Electoral Reform Working Group (Earwig) where
progress and problems regarding IRV and other reforms were reported on.

TREASURER'S REPORT:  None.  Jim Doyle not present.  (Need to generate next year's budget)

350.org:	Gerry Gras, Andrea Dorey. Discussed ways to publicize upcoming day of action on 
October 24:  also distributed copies of event flyers to CC members;  Gerry Gras made 
buttons.  Other suggestions, Andrea Dorey:  Distribute flyers by riding to various BART 
stations;  paint rocks with "350.org" and distribute in stores and restaurants.

NEW DECEPTION DOLLARS, Carol Brouillet: New dollars will feature a white guy with an Obama 
mask and Dick Cheney with a Bush mask.  Carol is willing to work with GP to make a 
Deception Dollar for us.

SUGGESTION:  Andrea Dorey, Caroline Yacoub:  Need to make and post list of tabling events 
throughout the year on the website, to encourage and inform volunteers.

NEXT MEETING:  November 15, at Caroline Yacoub's house.


County Council members say, "Thank you Caroline, for opening your home and providing a 
welcoming atmosphere and great munchies!"
