[GPSCC-chat] 2 bundles of Green Focus: donation?

Hi everyone,

I'm going to pick up the two bundles of the Green Focus that our county had been planning to get from Barry Hermanson in San Francisco tomorrow.  Barry says that since the election is over payment is not required (per the state Coordinating Committee), but if we want to make any sort of donation it would be gratefully accepted.

Would we like to make a donation to GPCA for the two bundles of Green Focus?  (I will definitely make a donation of my own.)

Just how did I get involved in this, anyhow?  I was at Caroline's place last week putting together a tabling kit, and as we were going through materials the subject of the Green Focus issues came up.  We thought that it would be nice to have copies of the latest issue at Junior State and the Peace Fair, even though the election is over, because that way we have something that shows current Green Party activity (not just news from a couple of years ago), and we can show people what Green candidates stand for.  Since I'm not working right now I said I'd look into what was going on.

Tian put me in touch with Barry Hermanson.  Barry had been intending to recycle the bundles of Green Focus because the election is over.  He checked with the Coordinating Committee and they said that payment would not be required.

What do people think?  Do we want to make a donation?
