       To the extent that money wins elections, Obama can't afford to 
pay more than lip service to the bottom 90% of the US populace.  As 
indicated in the attached plot of data from the US Census bureau, Bill 
Clinton was the only president since Lyndon Johnson who who made the 
economy grow for all Americans.  You want to know why the ultra right in 
the US spent millions of dollars in privately funded investigations in 
the 1990s trying to find a way to destroy him?  Here's the answer.


       I think Obama knows this.  Until a critical mass of the US 
electorate starts getting their news and world views from other sources, 
Obama must toady to the ultra-wealthy or face the same kind of intense 
hostility from the media that got Clinton impeached.


       Moral:  If you lie to the world in order to murder hundreds of 
thousands of people for essentially no good reason, that's wonderful as 
long as the ultra wealthy get their cut.  Otherwise, they will find a 
way to get you.
