Those looking for a way to keep your money in the community might want 
to find gifts from a local potter.   This page list a number of them who

I particularly like Jan Schachter, Eduardo Lazo, Lee Middleman and 
Swanica Lichtenberg... but alas Swanica's husband has a work asigment in 
Japan and Swanica is only in galleries there now.
