Seeing Anna's name on that list as a no-single-payer reminds me of her performance at
a Scott's Valley Town Hall probably in 2009 when somebody asked her about her position
on single-payer. Anna responded to that by talking about how important health care is,
and how challenging to working families, and then she went round and round about health
care for ten minutes until everybody had stopped listening and only the most attentive
noticed that she had never answered the question.

Of course it's just a coincidence that of 2 of her top 3 contributors are Giliead and
Johnson & Johnson, and the top industry contributing to her is Pharma.

IMHO the need for campaign finance reform is one of the top factors with the problems
with Congress today, and I've long thought that Greens should build national visibility for
the party by running informational campaigns for Congress based on the ideas of
Lawrence Lessig, and that a national working group should be established to create
the template and the propaganda for such campaigns.

There is a new organization, maplight, that's building databases allowing them to draw
correlations between campaign contributions and legislators' votes. Here's their page
on Anna http://maplight.org/us-congress/legislator/235-anna-eshoo

Fun facts: 70% of her contributions come from outside her district
50% come from out of her state

To find who you will vote for on June 5th in the new Assembly, Senate and Congressional Districts here's the link where you enter your address and it shows you the map of the old and new district. Unfortunately they neglected to identify the numbers of each district! You might be able to figure out what the number is by looking at the map of the district. Below is the list of Dem. candidates for each district with the main cities in the new district.
