I did a little searching of the internet.

NOTE: Abbreviations - R = Republican, D = Democrat

In the Sanate, (S. 1794) the sponsor and the cosponsor
are Ds. It passed by unanimous consent. I wonder what
Bernie Sanders thinks of this?

In the House, the sponsor is R, there is one cosponsor
who is D. There are only 3 No votes, 2 R and 1 D,
none from California. There are 42 "Not Voting",
including Grijalva, Jackson, Kucinich, Lee, Paul,
Speier, Woolsey.
