Subject: Saturday Feb 23 - Let's Get Moving Silicon Valley - A Transportation
Summit to kick off 2013

We can transform transportation in Silicon Valley - if we work together.   This
coming Saturday, February 23rd in San Jose, Transform is hosting the first-ever
Let's Get Moving, Silicon Valley Transportation Choices and Healthy Communities
Summit. Friends of Caltrain is one of the co-sponsors.

At the event, you can learn more about how Caltrain electrification will affect
Silicon Valley, and how you can get involved in planning improvements for Santa
Clara County Caltrain station areas.

Other sessions provide opportunities to learn more about active transportation
and health, safe routes to school and transit, connections to high speed rail,
and the big picture about transportation and land use in Santa Clara County.

You will have opportunities to connect with other advocates from across the Bay
Area. Speakers include Dwayne Marsh, Senior Advisor, U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development; Susan Stuart, Health Planner, Chronic Disease & Injury
Prevention, Santa Clara County Public Health Department; Councilmember Ash
Kalra, City of San Jose, District 2; Rod Diridon, Executive Director, Mineta
Transportation Institute (MTI); and many more.
