Thanks again for all your support on the petition to ask San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed to support marriage equality. Most recently, Reed's vote was the council's only NO vote in support of an amicus brief in favor of marriage equality. Despite strong gains in public opinion for marriage equality, Reed continues to believe that his LGBT constituents are less than equal.
Please join us in kicking off Gay Pride Month, and the impending Supreme Court ruling on Prop. 8 and DOMA, on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at 6:30 p.m., when the Billy DeFrank LGBT Community Center and Marriage Equality Silicon Valley present a free screening of 8: The Mormon Propo$ition.
