If ever there was an argument for not worrying about the consequences of voting for a third party such as the Green Party, that might result in "spoiling" the election results such that a Republican or Tea Party person gets elected instead of a Democrat, this is it: http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2013/04/reality-check-obama-cuts-social-security-and-medicare-by-much-more-than-the-gop/274919/ Obama is now to the right of Paul Ryan on Medicare and Social Security.
