I'll never forget her signature performance at a Town Hall meeting in Scotts Valley a few years ago. A constituent asked her what was her position on Single Payer healthcare. She responded by saying health care was an important issue and especially so for low-income people and she launched into a long free-association about everything she'd ever done with respect to health care and everything the Democrats thought was a good idea and when she finally finished up about ten minutes later everybody was so glad that she had stopped talking that probably most of them gave her the benefit of the doubt and supposed that their attention was wandering when she answered the question. She didn't answer the question.

She's the poster girl for what's wrong with Congress today, most notable for her towering lack of leadership during a period of enormous decline for our once-great nation.
