[GPSCC-chat] Help Fight Big Money's Influence in Elections

You may remember the flap last year after the Koch Brothers injected $15 million 
into the California ballot initiative process through Americans for Responsible 
Leadership and the Center to Protect Patient Rights.  The Washington Post reported 
that the Kochtopus network of non-profits alone hid $400 million nationwide in 2012!

Legislation is pending in the California Assembly that will help ensure that billionaires 
and corporations can't hide behind 
secretive non-profits.   SB 27  requires any group 
spending $50,000 in 
California elections to reveal exactly who gave the money.
SB 27 is endorsed by the League of Women Voters.  http://ca.lwv.org/node/1155

You can help get this passed by signing this petition, which will  generate an email
to your Assembly Representative.

Particularly important are petition signers in rural and/or Republican districts, so
