There will be a specially scheduled protest
Friday, May 23rd, 2014 from 3:45PM-5PM in front of Congressperson Zoe
Lofgren's San Jose, CA office,
635 N 1st Street, San Jose, CA 95112.

Also, you may choose to show up at any or all of the other usual anti-war
vigils in the San Jose, CA area, such as:

Fridays from 5PM-6PM at 4th and San Fernando in front of the MLK Library in
San Jose, CA

Saturdays and Sundays from 11AM-1PM at Stevens Creek and Winchester blvds
in San Jose, CA.

Mondays from 5PM-6PM at the San Carlos st end of Cesar Chavez Park in
downtown San Jose, CA.

There will also be a visit and vigil/speakout at Congressperson Sam Farr's
office in Santa Cruz, CA on Wednesday, May 21st, 2014 at 2PM. Meet at the
Santa Cruz County Courthouse at 701 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz, CA.

These actions are scheduled to run from May 9, 2014 to May 26, 2014 in
coordination with the call put out by the International Action Center in
New York, NY.

*Coalition Against US Intervention In The Ukraine*
Come out and support a protest against the ongoing US intervention in the
Ukraine. The US has spent some $5 billion dollars on "bringing democracy to
the Ukraine". This has included paying protestors who were involved in the
Feb 22, 2014 demonstrations in Kiev where Neo-Nazi snipers shot police and
demonstrators from both sides. The US state dept pointedly ignored the
implications of this and started constructing their own narrative that
blames Russia for the ongoing unrest and violence in the Ukraine,
particularly now in Eastern Ukraine. No NATO troops in the Ukraine! No
US/EU war with Russia! Get the US and the EU and the IMF to get their
sticky fingers out of the Ukraine!

 These actions are endorsed by the San Jose Peace Center.
