[GPSCC-chat] Demonstrate for sale of O'Connor Hospital

Tomorrow at O'Connor Hospital 2101 Forest Ave, San Jose, nurses and their supporters will be demonstrating at a public hearing with the Attorney General concerning the sale  of O'Connor to Prime Health.
 Only Prime has agreed to:
. Maintain all healthcare services
. Maintain community's healthcare choices and existing levels of charity care for the poor and underserved
. Respect collective bargaining rights, preserve jobs, and maintain labor standards
. Invest $150 million in capital improvements.

Killing this sale could push the Daughters of Charity into bankruptcy and slash services to our community. The county has said they will not take over the hospitals until after bankruptcy. This disruption would cost jobs and could cost lives.
