Metro ran a great two-page article in the March 25-31 issue about the crude oil bomb trains.

It would be great is we would go around to the Metro distribution boxes on Tuesday and Wednesday and pick up
the unclaimed papers. Then we can strip out pages 8 and 10, staple them together, and recycle the rest. If you
don't want to distribute them yourself, I can find a use for them. The Fremont city council will be meeting on the
oil trains issue on April 7, and I can take bunches of them upstate too.

When Metro has already done the writing and production for us, it's a shame to let the resource go to waste.

Oil trains are a great issue because they involve environmentalism, obstruction of the petroleum economy,
abuses of corporate power (public risk, private profits), toothless government regulators, relatively mainstream
organizations such as the Sierra Club and 350.org. It also involves a lot of very energetic and optimistic young
people. Let's help the kids win this one so they don't turn into cynical burnouts like us.
