[GPSCC-chat] Call for Plenary Delegates and Local Hosts for end of June

Folks!  This message is a call for volunteers to be  delegates at the 
upcoming Green Party of California General Assembly (Plenary)  that will be held 
Saturday - Sunday June 27-28 in San Jose... AND a request  for local hosts 
for out-of-town Green Party activists who will be attending that  meeting (as 
well as the U S Social Forum that will occur June  25-27).
 
The Green Party of Santa Clara County is allowed five voting  delegates 
(and there can be up to five alternates).  When you are a  delegate, you 
represent our local County Green Party at the statewide  meeting.  A copy of the 
GPCA announcement will be posted separately, but  you can get more 
information at _www.cagreens.org/ga_ (http://www.cagreens.org/ga) .  Registration  
costs are $40 for both days if you register before June 1st.  Also, you can  
get a reduced registration fee to the U S Social Forum of $20 if you register  
for that event when you register for the Plenary.
 
We also are asking for offers to host out-of-town guests for  these events 
(even if you are not planning to attend either the Plenary or the U  S 
Social Forum).  This is something Greens do to help reduce the expenses  for 
activists who attend meetings around California as they are held in  different 
locations over the years.
