Gerry,

I'm writing you in your role as leader of the Santa Clara County Green
Party. Do you agree that big money and powerful corporations have
control of our democracy, that we actually have an oligarchy as Jimmy
Carter recently named it? If so, then your organization can help turn
things around. Attached is a resolution passed by the Santa Clara County
Democratic Party that calls for a "We The People" Constitutional
Amendment. In essence, it says money is not speech and corporations are
not people.

If you have membership or executive board meetings, we would like to
share an outline of the problem, and why this solution is one we can all
support. A Constitutional Amendment is part of the "political
revolution" that Bernie Sanders is working toward. Please contact me to
discuss our future, or for more information regarding our grassroots
movement.

BTW, as mentioned in our phone conversation, there's a rally in front of
the Supreme Court next Tuesday. I'll forward the announcement to you in
another e-mail.
