[GPSCC-chat] Who's to blame for presidential win/loss?

As you know, many Democrats have blamed Nader for
Bush winning in 2000. A claim I find ludicrous.

Well, here's another bizarre explanation of a loss,
again from a Democrat, this time by Hillary's
campaign manager: "Clinton campaign manager
Robby Mook said Thursday that one particular group
is especially to blame: millennials."

This statement is supported by Aaron Blake in the
Washington Post:

"Yes, you can blame millennials for Hillary Clinton’s
loss"
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/12/02/yes-you-can-blame-millennials-for-hillary-clintons-loss/?utm_term=.ffdf60a8ec16

...

But FAIR, (Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting) responded:

"Blaming Trump’s Win on the Age Group Least Responsible for It"
http://fair.org/home/blaming-trumps-win-on-the-age-group-least-responsible-for-it/

...

Short explanation for blaming millennials:
Hillary lost the election because the Millennials
did not support her as much as they supported Obama.

Never mind that Hillary gets more votes than Trump
from the Millennials.

...

Also note this statement, from the WaPo article:

(from Hillary's campaign manager)
"He noted, for example, that younger voters, perhaps
assuming that Clinton was going to win, migrated to
third-party candidates in the final days of the race."

Considering the low percentages for the third party
candidates, I find this improbable.

I suspect that this is a knee jerk reaction against
the Green Party.

...

Sigh. Will logic ever prevail? Seems unlikely.
