Is
the abuse of Palestinians in detention an exception to the rule? What
really goes on in detention center, jails, and prisons in Israel? With
over 300 testimonies, personal photos and audio pieces, ex-Israeli
soldiers tell us just how Palestinians are treated in the under
occupation. Breaking the Silence offers us a unique vision of the
accountability necessary for justice and transformation.<br>

Join
Breaking the Silence founder Yehuda Shaul as he shares his testimony
and that of other Israeli soldiers through a slide and video
presentation. Yehuda was born in Jerusalem, grew up in an
ultra-orthodox family, and served first as a soldier and then as a
commander in the Israeli Occupation Forces in Hebron, Bet-Lechem, and
Ramallah. Yehuda’s presentation will be followed by a panel discussion
with Yehuda, representatives from Anti-War and Labor organizations, and
the audience. <br>
