attended and/or helped publicize the Single Payer rally at the State Building
yesterday. There were about 35 people who attended in a spirited gathering that
was well-covered by the media for being called on such short notice. KCBS radio
covered it, as well as El Observador, Sing Tao Newspapers, and Sing Tao

Deliverance Ministry (Sandy Perry), Interfaith Council (Father Bill Leininger),
Student Advocates for Higher Education (SAHE)(Victor Cristobal), AFSCME
Local 101 (Peg Elwell), Calif. State Employees Assn., Low-Income Self-Help
Center (Ruth), Santa Clara County Single Payer Coalition, and San Jose Peace
