Clark's speech to the Commonwealth Club last October 3. I quote from
Commonwealth magazine Jan. 2008 edition. This from Gen. Clark's "Time
to Lead". <br>

Then we attacked Afghanistan. I was happy about that; we should have
[done that]. I cam back to the Pentagon six weeks later, saw thae same
officer, and [asked him], "Why haven't we attacked Iraq? ?Are we still
going to attack Iraq?" He said, "oh sir, it's worse than that; I just
got this memo from teh secretary of defense's office that says we are
going to attack and destroy the governments in seven countries in five
years. We are going to start with Iraq, and then we are going to move
to Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Iran." I said, "is that a
classified memo"" He say, "Yes sir." I said, "Don't show it to me
because I don't want to talk about it." <br>
