Elections Commission will be discussing Instant Runoff Voting during their
regularly scheduled meeting this Wednesday. This is an excellent
opportunity to show support for IRV. During the period for public comment,
you can simply state that you support IRV, and if you like, offer one or two
reasons for your support, such as: IRV can save San Jose money (there will
be just one local election instead of two); IRV produces better, more civil
campaigns; IRV cuts down the length and costs of campaigns; IRV increases voter
