The Morgan Hill Times has a straw poll going concerning the District 1

Supervisor's Race with the 4 serious candidates listed. Currently, Dr.

Peter Arellano and Teresa Alvarado are leading in the small sample

(only 32 responses so far).  Current Santa Clara Valley Water District

director, Rosemary Kamei, is tied for last with Forrest Williams...

deservedly. <br>

They may differ from what I said.<br>

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.  If Kamei does not

generate significant support, she may well decide to stay on the Water

District Board where she could fact termed-out County Supervisor, Don

Gage. <br>

The last 2 Supervisors in District 1 have been Mike Honda and Don Gage.<br>
