Why is it that for every five hours of cable news, less than a minute
is devoted to science? Mooney explores how corporate interests,
science-phobic politicians, a weak educational system and lack of media
coverage are contributing to the growing disconnect between the
scientific community and American culture. <br>

What the intro does not say is that he gives some of the blame to the
scientists themselves, discusses the impact of fundamentalist religion
and the mass-culture pseudo science that the movies / TV had out. <br>
<br>
Hope to find a way to react quickly afterward. Still in the process of
reading Mooney's latest book... for which this is part of the tour. <br>
