<br><br>Thank you, Brent,<br>I want to reiterate what a positive experience it was being at the ANM. I want to put in a plug also for the livestreaming....which is now on-demand streaming. If you haven't watched it yet, check it out, almost 70,000 viewers have. <a href="http://www.livestream.com/greenpartyus" target="_blank">http://www.livestream.com/greenpartyus</a> I just got home last night, and am looking at it for the first time now. The first segment I looked at was the little interview I did with Theresa ElAmin right at the end of the meeting. I was so impressed by what she said during the wrap-up of the strategy session, that I asked her to share some of it for the camera.<br>
<br>I have wanted to write a bit about my experience of being part of the group doing the livestreaming. Right now, just to say that I did not expect to be doing it, and just happened to show up with a Macbook with a built-in camera....and no one else besides David Doonan had volunteered. Fortunately the on site tech people graciously offered to lend me a webcam. Besides not having previous experience with doing this type of thing, nor in being in a livestream studio, we were definitely hampered by lack of equipment and difficulty staying on line. Dave Doonan had better equipment, but kept having trouble getting on line and I ended up doing the main videoing two of the days...despite not having a tripod or a camera that zoomed or anything....so when you see shots floating around, know that the camera was either sitting on a desk or in my hand. Unfortunately when both of us had equipment working, we were not set up to simultaneously record two events. Oops, I see some mislabeling of shots...I will talk to Craig to see if we can edit those label. I just went to see the Single Payer Event and see that we streamed the set-up. I sure did not know I was "taped" walking off the stage, nor did others who were caught walking around and or talking. Our amazing producers, working from NY and CA must not have been aware of what was happening, nor was Dave Doonan, as his camera and computer were not in the same spot. All in all, it was a great experience for me....I like being a techie, and though it was not as wonderful as being there, I hope it brought y'all in as well....and it keeps going. The stats say almost 5000 people have looked at it just this week, and 70,000 since the meeting. Next time, I am sure we can do a slicker presentation, even recording the parts that we are not livestreaming.<div>

The folks in North Carolina, especially Wayne Turner, also Theresa ElAmin and George Friday. Including Ed King who coordinated rides for anyone who needed them.<br>
<br>
I mentioned in a previous post the importance of the Black Caucus to this success.<br>
<br>
I want to thank the Steering Committee and the Finance Committee for paying close attention.<br>
<br>
And I want to thank staff, especially Tamar Yager who was involved every step of the way from negotiations with NCCU to the series of Fundraising events at Durham. Every single fundraising event was a success!<br>
<br>
If you weren't able to make it this year you had the opportunity to view the event, live streamed thanks to the efforts of Craig Seeman and a cadre of others.<br>
