The real lesson of climate change is that our ecological future and our
economic future are the same. If we don't put a halt to man caused
global warming now, the economic and social costs are unthinkable.
To what extent is the EU willing to delay addressing the ecological
problems in order to solve the immediate, widely perceived economic
emergency du jour? And what will prevent us from delaying again and
again until it is too late?
