The U.N. Climate Change Conference starts on December 7th.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: larger;">So far, President Obama has
only endorsed a 3.5% reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 2020.* </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: larger;">And yesterday, U.S. Senators
Barbara Boxer and John Kerry introduced a weak climate change bill to
reduce emissions by a mere 7% by 2020.<sup>1</sup><br>

That's just not good enough. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: larger;">The Nobel prize-winning
International Panel on Climate Change says that the world must reduce
emissions by 25-40% by 2020 to have a 50/50 chance of avoiding runaway
warming.</span><sup><span style="font-size: larger;">2</span></sup></p>

endorse a 40% emissions reduction by 2020 to avert crisis.</span></a><span

There's no excuse for foot-dragging. A new U.N. study predicts a
catastrophic temperature rise of 6.3<sup>o</sup> F by the end of the
century -- even if world leaders fulfill their most ambitious climate
pledges.<sup>3</sup> <br>
