perhaps someone can tell me if there's a list I can post it to, or who can pass

Right now we have a disfunctional Senate. It passed
a phony health reform bill, and has done nothing about climate change or
financial reform. It refuses to pass even watered-down versions of bills to deal
with these latter two concerns. The Senate has been fiddling a whole year while
the Earth burns. It is beholden to money from special interests. The result is
weak international agreements from a world waiting for the USA to lead.
Meanwhile Lieberman and his wife get thousands of dollars from the insurance
industry.

The climate change issue resonates with many people
everywhere. That could be enough to launch a Green senate campaign against some
of these laggards. I wonder if there are Green candidates that could spoil the
election of these phony Democrats, many of them in red states like Louisiana and
Arkansas. Or, just the threat of such a campaign might make a difference. The
Green Party does at least have the power to spoil a Democrat's re-election, if
not the ability to elect someone. In combination with a primary campaign
launched by moveon.org, such a Democrat's re-election chances could be damaged.
They need to know that there is some thunder on the left. Perhaps just the
threat of such action might push them toward action on climate change and other
issues.
