<P>In the early part of September, <A href="http://350.org/" target=_blank>350.org</A> co-founder and environmental author Bill McKibben will be visiting the Bay Area for a few days. We want to be sure that you have a chance to see him speak and meet him in person while he’s in town.</P>
<P>This will be an opportunity to hear about the <A href="http://act.350.org/go/52?akid=1214.313989.2uokBL&t=1" rel=nofollow target=_blank>large-scale civil disobedience</A> that’s been taking place in front of the White House in protest of the proposed Keystone XL project (a tar sands crude oil pipeline that would run from Alberta, Canada through six Midwestern states to the Gulf of Mexico), and also to learn more about our upcoming global day of action, <A href="http://act.350.org/go/78?akid=1214.313989.2uokBL&t=2" rel=nofollow target=_blank>Moving Planet</A>, on September 24.</P>
