you can join us to create a float on Friday afternoon (1 pm-<BR>6pm) or in the morning on Saturday (in downtown Palo Alto - the float<BR>needs to be there by 8:15 and then everyone at the staging area by<BR>9:30 am) -- parade begins at 10 am.... It says no give-aways this<BR>year... but I think we should be prepared anyway and hopefully we can<BR>give away our money, maybe have a table somewhere along the way or at<BR>the end, too.... depending on how many we are.<BR><BR>The theme of this year's parade, which falls on Cinco de Mayo is-<BR>"Palo Alto at Play"<BR><BR>We've signed up to have a float entitled the Green Party Party<BR><BR>and I think our theme will be changing the rules of the game, but we<BR>are open to everyone's ideas, input, creativity, energy, help...<BR><BR>and it would be wonderful to get kids or youth involved, so if you<BR>have or know any kids who might want to participate please invite<BR>them to join us Friday, Saturday or both
days.<BR><BR>Since, the "game" has been to rob and destroy the planet, we'll be<BR>giving away our beautiful new money (3 flavors) and let people know<BR>that we CAN change of the rules of the War/Corporate economy, in a<BR>way that serves and benefits people and life...
