I had this impression about what was said at the board meeting before doing a web search. It was my recollection that the Vermont legislative process was stalled when it came to passing a GMO labeling law because they were afraid of being sued, not because they had actually been sued. I do believe it was Richard Hobbs who spoke at the meeting. All I have done is back up my recollection, imperfect as it may be, with a simple web search. The article is dated March 2013 so I think it pretty much covers all the bases as far as I'm concerend. And yes I do expect an expert such as Richard Hobbs to be better versed in the facts, especially in this case. Thank you for your concern.</DIV>
