I was really disappointed at the choices available for District 2 Supervisor to replace Shirakawa. Ms Alvarado's mother (a former District 2 supervisor) endorsed Shirakawa when he first ran for office. Cindy Chavez has dirty dealings with the DA over Shirakawa and dirty dealings with the Valley Medical Foundation to explain, among other things, before she will get my vote. And even dark horse Patricia Martinez-Roach is openly a Shirakawa apologist, stating in her announcement to run for District 2 Supervisor that Shirakawa's legacy can only be continued, not replaced. So if you didn't want to vote for a Sheriff's Deputy or a couple of total unknowns there was nobody to vote for on the June 4th ballot, at least if you were using a "doesn't have
anything to do with Shirakawa" standard for a sniff test on who to vote for.<BR></DIV>
