Constitutional amendment that corporations are not people, and money
is not speech (overturning the US Supreme Court Citizens United

last legislative session
before the 4th of July.
It's now on its way to
Governor Brown's desk

The author of the bill,
Senator Ted Lieu, and

fabulous job pushing it
forward. The California

heard you loud and
clear, they voted 24 to
11 to pass it. All the
Democrats who voted said
"Yes". None of the
Republican Senators
voted "Yes". It had
passed the Assembly on a
similar party-line vote
