There is a related story today regarding the increasing pressure
from Ag interests to build new dams. You will note that the
movement (if you can call it that) to restore Hetch-Hetchy seems to
have disappeared. One problem with the idea of building new dams is
the fact that it assumes there will always be enough precip to fill
the reservoirs. Given the impact of climate change, that
assumption should be challenged. <br>

I have faith that Paul Rogers, part of the forum, is a very good,
accurate journalist. <br>
